News: The Pain come from newtown mid wales in the uk,formed in 1983 out of a a number of local bands,didnt gig our of wales till 1991.We did many demo`s, eventually released as tapes from 1984-1994.The Pain have gigged all over uk with many of punk`s finest,getting a reputation as something a little different,covering varying `punk styles`.Very much a diy ethic band,supporting various causes along the way.First studio album released in 2005,followed by 2nd album in 2009 all done by The Pain + friends,We did odd jobs for the sound recordist + mixer in exchange for their expertise! so basically all was done on low budget but with good quality sound.: The Pain are against fascism,corporate types and celebrity culture.Money although is a factor,is never our god and play for the love of punk and it`s aims.We like to mix politics with humour,and never try to sound like anyone,although our influences are the clash/uk subs
