Fresh off the release of their sophomore album, “Simple Good,” fREEX couldn’t have any more buzz than if you wacked 10 hornets’ nests with a hockey stick! The album was just nominated for “Rock Album of the Year” by the Los Angeles Music Awards, their video for “Mental Rental” was nominated for “Video of the Year,” and Ivan “Vänü” Ganchev, fREEX’ hard-hitting drummer, formerly of “American Idol” fame, garnered a nomination for “Rock Drummer of the Year.” fREEX also received an invite to perform at the prestigious "Heart of Texas Rockfest" during SXSW.
