It started in the early 80's I was infected by the evils of Hip Hop. I use to sneak in my grandfathers basement and mess with his records , but my uncles had there own collection also and I started with The Rapping Duke to Ll Cool J's first album, after that it was a wrap I knew it,I felt it. I knew that I would be stuck in this realm of melodic sounds.Growing up in New York City is already a plus because it was the mecca for all entertainment. As the years flew by Hip Hop has grown to a mega monster. I was influenced by many such as Eric B & Rakim,EPMD,Big Daddy Kane,KRS-1,Salt N Pepa,Run DMC and the list goes on and on. Born in Queens raised in Brooklyn I seen just about everything you can see in the streets. Now mixing all these elements together the streets have created a beast. Long behold ya boy lands an executive assistant position at Island Def Jam Records. I was the only assistant getting paid right off the bat. I was the only assistant getting A&R credits 3 months in the game. I've seen and spoke to just about everyone you can name. I had the luckiest job in the world. This is the s*** people die for, this is the s*** people dreamed about and I was doing it. This cycle was so infectious its a disease you dont want cured. Remember Jay-z quoted " Its a secret society all we ask is trust" ask anyone they will tell you, that s*** is real. Working there I aquired the skills to run my own label. I am now the CEO of my own record company Equalizer Records. I have worked with Jay-z/Cam'ron/Jim Jones/Mariah Carey/Kanye West/Ja Rule/Ashanti/DMX/TI/Juelz Santana/State Property/Diplomats/Murder Inc/Ill Nana/ Ludacris and again the list goes on. Now its my turn to burn and m************ are gonna burn as I rise. Im not cocky Im confident and that is only a piece of the mojo to make it. Do you have what it takes? I do !!!!
