- I grew up like most people from the south...
Hunting, Fishing,just getting in the outdoors is how I spent my days as a young man...
Then I found the guitar when I was 14 and spent a few years learning technique.. when I was 18 I decided I wanted to start writing.. That was after learning how to play and sing George Strait songs along with alot of other artists from past to present..
I was born and grew up in Northeast Alabama until I was 15, but the real music bug didn't hit me until my parents and I moved to Muscle Shoals, Alabama. There I found a wide variety of music from R&B to Country, Bluegrass and every where in between..
It has stuck with me all these years and in pursuit of a career in the Country Music Industry as a Singer- Songwriter. I have made the move to Nashville and plan to stick it out as long as it takes..... Take Care and Thanks for reading about me !!!... JW
