Her musical journey conspicuously began at age 13, and in an interesting story-tale wrapped in the fabric of a ritual of her culture, Jill found her thrill. In that instant, breaking out in song, music began to play an integral part in the soundtrack of her life. The stage was set for all that is to follow. The personable 20 year old remained active in various aspects of performing over the years. As we fast forward to the present, the model, actress is coming into her own intent on building on her ever-developing abilities. With confidence, spunk, and purpose she intends to find her place in the music industry. "I did it my way" is the declaration of independence that burns like a flame within her as individuality shines through in an evident sensibility. "Jilly" as she's known to those close to her, is now channeling her skills and competitive spirit to create songs that as she says "not only relate to my own life but also drawing from the experiences of my peers." Introducing, a new star in the entertainment galaxy. Vocalist, songwriter Jill is a new sensation, stretching her wings and powerful vocal chords, emerging as an unclassifiable performer. Stepping forward confidently with her debut album she is continuing on a trek toward what is shaping into a promising recording career. A modish addition to the ever-changing world of entertainment, she has evolved from amateur to professional after having displayed her flair to many a crowd. Seasoned from years of vocal training, recitals, acting in musicals, and dancing, her performances of cover songs then are now passé as originals are the focus of her repertoire. While expressing respect for her contemporaries, she chooses not to set limits on her artistry, doesn't want to be placed in a category, not wanting to compromise herself. The CD she is working on is an eclectic mix of tempos, and rich with vibrant Pop, Rock, and Dance genres. Aiming to push the boundaries of conventional releases, she adds her own formula, drawing from the diversity of the musical influences that stimulated her intense desire to sing. Exemplifying such an artistic mesh is a challenge that she takes on readily. Jill has enlisted the production hit making squad GBLG Productions, (Kevin Grady, Walter Brooks, Andre Lovell, and O'Brian Grady) pooling their talents and resulting in songs not confined in the status quo. The production is first rate and gives her that "big" sound and sonic textures one would come to expect from projects by major stars. The versatility and range of her abilities is evident in songs such as "My Life", a frantic dance number that sends her message that "no one can hold me back, not even myself." Then there's the gentle yet strong, "I'm Sorry", a ballad where she speaks the simplicity yet power of those two words. The total collaborative effort with the producers also sprung the infectious, melodic present single, "Insane." Finding expression in song, articulating the music that found a way into her heart, her blossoming talent as a songwriter reflects strength, determination, and beauty. A bona-fied rising star who is expressing an instant platinum style, showing gifted versatility, she can get the party started and rock and pop your world via the collection of carefully chosen and genre spanning tracks that gives her a clear path toward a broad audience. Jill is bridging the gap, and taking center stage with this release, bringing a breath of fresh airworthy collection of songs. She goes all out, her exhilarating approach shines forward in her music, embodying her outlook on life and showcases an impressive effort by the dynamic newcomer.
