There are entertainers who sing for their people and then there are singers who speak for their generation. If you’re looking for that entertainer then you would be speaking of J.P. From slow melodic crooner music, to up tempo head bangers, J.P. has raised the bar as far R&B singers are concerned."I know what it’s like to struggle for something that you want to accomplish, something that you have put your hard time into and that you dream of every night. I wake up and sleep music, it’s who I am and it’s molded to me". Molded to him would be the proper answer for his hunger he has for the music. Growing up in a musical family of 5 older brothers, father being a jazz percussionist , and mother a music director, J.P. learned from a very early age what REAL music was all about." I grew up listening to Teddy Pendergrass, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, and many more.
