En diciembre de 2009, Cristhian Murcia (Guitarra), Gabriel Villamarin (Guitarra), y John Solórzano (Bajo), provenientes de un proyecto común se unen a Michael Solórzano (Batería) y Lina Cabrera (Voz) para conformar la banda JOHNNIE FAKER. Nuestra propuesta es un sonido alternativo, que maneja sonidos fuertes y distorsionados en el bajo y guitarras, baterias enérgicas, y voces cargadas de sentimientos y sensaciones encontradas, que le dan a JOHNNIE FAKER un sello característico, hasta este momento ausente en la escena rockera bogotana.
