With 28 years under his belt, "JOR-G", one of the newest breeds of MC's coming out of Miami, is about to take over the game. With a radio friendly voice, raw metaphors, catchy hooks, and words that'll flip your mind into another level of reality, this young, mad talented rapper, is determined for fame and prosperity. After many trials and tribulations, including a 2 year sentence at a maximum security prison, followed by 4 years of probation, he knew it was not going to be easy. When you are forced by the system to do time for a crime you did not commit, it becomes difficult to stay legit. Knowing he was facing jail time, he had nothing to loose. Time’s where real hard, for the soon to be mc, & got harder when he finally had to do his bid. A big fan of hip hop, inside prison walls , tends to see what he himself can bring to the table. Starting as a hobby, writing his thoughts down on paper, was his way of expressing himself, but when bleachers start getting banged on to create beats in a prison yard, as a writer of hip hop, you tend to want to show what u got, in a cipher or two. He had fellow inmates in shock with the creativity of his punchlines and the swag to his flow. It was in that point of time he noticed he was not the only one who thought he was amazing. He could see himself doing this for a living Upon release, In 2003, he recorded his first ever rap song "THEY AINT READY 4 ME", it showed exactly what this rapper was bringing to the game, but lacked the quality of a commercial song. Thus, came the grind. From $10 computer mics, to $1,000 condenser mics, from Ejay to pro tools, from not knowing how to use various software’s and/or mixers, to being a professional engineer. From one song, one thought and one plan, to CEO of his own label, owner of his own studio, 2 albums completed, 4 music videos, a number of performances, press reviews, and thousands of albums sold independently. While in the process of expanding and taking his grind to a whole other level, “JOR-G” is currently searching for investors, labels and distribution companies, currently involved with hip hop to reach out to the masses. A life of crime as a youth & Prison walls are now a closed chapter in his novel, a bright career with music is definitely what lies ahead.
