From the age of five Lauren Knight had a microphone in her hand.
Always dreaming one day she would be able to be on the stage and perform some of the greatest songs ever written ...
That dream has come true.

Lauren has had a long and wonderful musical career which began in Southern California finding her way to Austin Texas where she's lived for the last 30 years. Fronting cover bands, tribute bands , jazz trios ,9 piece dance bands, Lauren is no stranger to Austin's music scene. She has had the pleasure of working with many of the finest musicians in the city mastering her craft all along the way.

Successful interior designer and retail store owner are just a few of the hats that Lauren has worn over the years, but she always kept her beloved voice in her back pocket. Knowing one day it would be time to share her dream with the rest of the world.

With every phrase she sings you can feel her "colorful life " as she puts it. She gives her heart and soul to every song . Her velvety voice twists and turns incorporating the perfect nod to all our favorites from the swing era. Think Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Barbra Streisand with a dash of contemporary jazz. Her gift is incredibly unique!

At the end of the day Lauren Knight puts a smile on our face as she brings us back to the happiest of times and the end result is pure magic… Listen for yourself!

"A Night to Remember" Cd to be completed in March

Great news everyone! I spent the day mixing my album with my fabulous engineer Stuart Sullivan. I'm counting down the days until feb 27 & 28th when I will officially put my vocals on these amazing big band tracks!
