- Les started his folk singing career in the early seventies playing the coffee houses and taverns of Reading, Pa. Eventually his muse lead him to open air country concerts and folk venues throughout Pennsylvania. He was lucky enough to do openers for such artists as Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn. But as happens to so many young talents, the musical road became a bit foggy and he lost his way, spending seven errant years studying medicine... and twenty more years practicing in upstate New York. Luckily through the urging of his wife and children the troubadour rediscovered his path and picked up his guitar again in 2001. Now Les’s performances are a mixture of traditional songs and works of the great singer songwriters, as well as tale or two about the songs he sings
