Bio:: A former U.S.S.R.-born American singer and songwriter from New York City, MISHA Mamedov is a classically trained clarinet player. Born to a family of rock band musicians, MISHA grew up listening to his dad's Beatles, Jimmy Hendrix records, amongst many others. Since age 7, MISHA studied, performed professionally and composed until he got his B.A. in Music in New York, after which he continued on to perform live and record songs. Exposed to the magnitude of the metropolis's cultural scenes, influenced by the late 80's euro-rock MISHA released his first album in 2008 (available soon for commercial re-release). After performing his songs live for a year in New York, MISHA went on to write his second album, Walking On Fire. Channelling his favorite late 80's-early 90's pop-rock, MISHA plays guitars and keyboards on the album. Previously released with music videos, the songs 'See You Tonight', 's...e...x...', 'First One', and 'The Sun' appear on the album. Completed in March 2012, Walking On Fire was commercially released on iTunes and Amazon, and other music stores.
