Bio:: Birth name Margaret Ann, Street name PEGGSTARR. This Long Island NY born & raised female em-cee has been in the Hip-Hop scene for over 10 years. She is a part of StrongIsland.com & Strong Island Ruff Ryders.
She began her musical journey as a DJ for various bars & clubs on Long Island. Writing poetry started getting her recognition at a young age. She got write ups in her school newspaper & published in a book released worldwide called "Taste Berries For Teens" by Bettie B. Young.
Her Hip-Hop career started in 2002 when she did her first live performance at Thunders in Huntington, NY. She went on continuing doing shows & following the path she knew she was meant to follow.
PEGGSTARR has performed all over Suffolk & Nassau County Long Island at places such as....The Long Island Gay Pride Parade in Huntington, Shy Lounge, Hom, The Bunk House, Nubar, Metasin, McCoys, Glass, Molly Blooms 1 & 2, Traxx, Myst, Industry, 620 Lounge, Pure, Stony Brook College, West Palm Saloon, Legends Lounge, The Filthy Frogg, Muggs Pubb, Club Freedom, Sports Page Cafe, Phoenix House, The Slippery Pig, Lakesides, Rainbow Lounge, One More Shot, Thunders, The Pit, Union Square, Caramel Lounge, Honeys, Coeds, X-Hale, Cafe Casa Rica, & Wish Lounge.
She has performed in Manhattan & all the burroughs at places such as The Mixx, Rush, Sugarland, Club Pyramid, Chaos, Queens University College, & The Key Roller Skating Rink.
She has auditioned for a few TV shows such as Puff Daddys "Making The Band 2", Missy Elliots "The Road To Stardom", Amateur Night At The Apollo, & VH1s "Miss Rap Supreme".
She has had a few radio interviews on 90.1 WUSB in Stonybrook NY, & 106.7 Club Border Live in Watertown NY. Internet radio shows such as... Da Doo Dirty Show, LatinLounge.com, Strongisland.com, OUTing the music industry with Dj Sirrah.
Peggstarr hosts a weekly podcast TV show on www.StrongIsland.com called "Weird & Wacky News" with Cheyenne, at 8:15pm every Thursday night, during the Weekly Show with LA & FLOWZ.
