- Now in a sort of “Glory Train” comeback as a solo artist after a 27 year lay-off - usually play folk/acoustic stuff. Electric blues past and associationswith several seminal blues and British blues characters and bands.. Parked my guitar in 1983 after one album with Chicken Shack. Before that played in several line-ups with Keef Hartley, and other lesser known British bands - including three versions, three albums and umpteen singles with Blue Horizon band - Jellybread (material re-released by Sony at end of 2008). Highlights included backing BB King on three tracks of his Live in London album, playing with Taj Mahal in Finland, London Gumbo with Lightning Slim, - and turning up to play at early Glastonbury in 82/83 and thinking I had time shifted back to 1967! First gig back was a live radio show on Celtic Music Radio (Glasgow) on 20th June 2010. Frequent recent airplay on Scrub Radio (Internet), IM Radio and AiiRadio, where I have had a chart #1 with one of my songs.
