Rhubee Neale - Napanangka
Indigenous Australian singer-songwriter Rhubee Neale Napananka was born in Alice Springs, the red centre of Australia. Rhubee's ancestors are from the Arrernte Kaytetye, Anmatyerr tribes of Central Australia and Rhubee is also of Irish heritage.
Rhubee's music style is a fusion of country, grass roots, folk, jazz and blues. She continues in the tradition of story telling through her music and visual art, she delivers beautiful descriptive and pictorial lyrics and stories on topics of love, heartbreak, life in the red centre, domestic violence and various other topics that are dear to her hearts.
Rhubee's voice is innocent and pure. Through the use of phrases and words directly related to the dialect from the red centre, her Aboriginal heritage shines through. Her cheeky performance has a lightness to it, however, this lady with the Big smile brings a dept to her performance, singing from life's experiences with warmth and energy .
Rhubee Neale has performed around the country's , she loves community events but also doesn't shy away from the big stage, she has performed on various festivals including the Dreaming festival in Woodford, Queensland.
Rhubee's greatest influence is her Sister Letty Scott ,mentor role model, Mother and Friend ..She always encouraged Rhubee to sing paint and write songs.
Rhubee is continuing to move forward ,her songs and music have a healing effect on her whilst she continues to be a positive role model to many of her Brothers and Sisters of mankind.
