(Diary of POET*) started her career as a radio announcer in Houston, Texas and continued in Los Angeles working at Stevie Wonder owned station, KJLH as part of the morning show. She has worked as a concert and comedy promoter in Los Angeles. She has been responsible for helping launch many careers of comedians and artists. Her funnest accomplishment was getting a new female group signed to A&M at the time, “For Real” listened to by Stevie Wonder. The group not only recorded a song for his “Conversation Peace” CD, but was part of his World Tour. She has been getting the interest of many entertainment power shakers that have been introduced to her through Poetry Over Music. Poetry Over Music is an organization founded by artists and for artists. To provide an alternative way to get heard. Poetry Over Music members reach across the world and this is Diary of a POET* Sophmore year with being a part of their compilation CD. Coming up with something interesting was an exciting challenge this year since the organization chose the song for her to write poetry to. She of course gave more than one could fathom with her heart hitting emotional piece, “Daddy’s Dead” to the Temptations “Papa Was a Rolling Stone”. "Time 4 Change"DOAP collaborated with Beat Magician Rolyn May, CEO of RoadBlockCleared Productions. Together they were able to come up with this most inspiring piece that reminds us to look back to regular people that keep our lives intact as our heroes. Newcomer to the scene songtress, Domino is someone to keep an eye on.
