Bio:
Steve was raised in the small Waikato town of Kihikihi.North Island of New Zealand. Tutored by his uncle in the art of horse training from a young age, he went on to carve out a career in the horse business, notably retraining unrideable horses. He was a late starter in music, not taking up singing and playing guitar until age 54. Started writing songs about his life experiences beginning in 2003. The songs on this site were written and performed by Steve. He now performs as a solo act, and with his brother Neville in a duo band called THE b SHARPS.
