Bio:: Turning 27 & 23 old this year, the Sri Lankan artists, Sumudu & Shanuka, might do it all – sing, write lyrics & compose songs. They did their first 3 songs in 2004, titled “Amma”,”Purudu Nupurudu” and “Thesara” which led him to work with Mr. Chaminda Samaranayake. Having completed with the first three tracks they did their 4th and 5th tracks in year year 2005 titled “Abhitha lak Puthun”and “Nidi Deu Duwa“ with Mr.Gimantha Aponso. Working with another famous Sri Lankan music director “Kasun kalhara Jayawardhane” they did their 6th music track “Sankalpanavo..” which they have done a music video in year 2010. Now they are on their 7th track Titled “Seethla seethala” which was composed by one and only Nisal Gangodage. With the music career of 8 years they won the crowd from year 2004-2011. Nidi deu duwa, Abhitha lak puthun and Sankalpanavo which was composed by Kasun Kalhara were burning hot for weeks. In 2006, Sumudu started to continue with further studies at the faculty of dental sciences,University of Peradeniya.Shanuka was interested in Ayurvedic medicine and in year 2008 he started his further studies in Ayurvedic medicine. In the meantime they have joined the music academy of one of the Greatest Sri Lankan Musicians Kasun kalhara Jayawardhana where they are studying music at present. After joining Music academy of Kasun Kalhara Jayawardhana , Shanuka & Sumudu have being working on advanced vocaling techniques in both western classical and Indian classical music. With that exposure and experience Shanuka and Sumudu are currently working on a new album which they have included unexplored mysteries of music.

Define “Music”. It's as sweet as “Music”. There's no exact definition for that. We could say this more than that. Music is a language. It’s the sound of nature or we could say it is everything. It’s a long journey, an unexplored mystery..
