Tyler Ragle picked up his first bass at the tender age of 13. He wrote his first song while performing with the Sacramento band Broad Daylight in 1999. Since 2002, he has been writing, performing, and recording both on his own and with Richard March. Together they have shared a stage with such notables as Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Norton Buffalo, Lee Rocker, Chris Hillman and Herb Pedersen, Laurie Lewis and Nina Gerber, and the Tennessee Three. Between projects with Richard, Tyler released a four song EP, “Truth Is Stranger,” in 2008 and his debut full length recording,“Skies Apart,” in March 2011. Both records are co-produced and engineered by Scott Ballard of Sacramento, Ca. Influences include Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, John Prine, Tom Waits, Rodney Crowell, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Jay Farrar, Kris Kristofferson and so many others.
