Ekho is an Israeli Extreme Heavy Metal/Folk band, formed in 2008 . After finding a keyboard player, Ekho worked on their second demo, Among The Shadows of Erebus which is out now. Ekho’s sound is a Atmospheric merge of Extreme Power Metal with Black Metal influenced by Scandinavian Folk music and Classical music. The name is based on a character from the Greek mythology, a nymph, Echo ( Ἠχώ) and in Latin Greek, Ēkhō. The bands lyrical themes surround epic tales from the Greek mythology, Nature and Darkness.
