Georgia Born “Risk-A” began her career at the age of 13. Taken in by the many art forms of Hip Hop it is no surprise to see her making moves in the music industry years later. Although writing is what “Risk-A” primarily talks about when asked what exactly it is she does; rapping is also one of her many talents. Her strong voice accompanied by her articulate words demand attention and give a sense of pride to all aspiring female emcees. Juggling both being a student at the University of Georgia and a rap artist Risk-A wants to change the way corporate America sees hip hop music. This female emcee defines what it means to be a “rapper” slash “college prep.” Risk-A has worked alongside producers at “Big Cat Records” and local artists as such as: “Young Ghost” of B.I.E, Presidential, and “King Hill” of the Classic City just to name a few. Risk-A’s latest project is the building of her new entertainment company Her South Entertainment/Music. “ I want to show the world that females can do it to,”says Risk-A. Totally different and on the move Risk-A is definitely an artist and writer to look out for in the near future.
