Presented by Peter Gabriel's music platform We7 as an 'up-and-coming artist', Swiss singer-songwriter Baum now begins his 2011 international tour to promote his lastest album Music for my Landlord (Sound Service/CH). Produced at The Cutting Room Studios NYC/USA (Black Eyed Peas, Aerosmith, Mary J. Blige) by Patrick Ermlich and Eshy Gazit, the album includes the talent of reputable musicians Adam Levy (Norah Jones), Matt Johnson (Jeff Buckley), Jeff Cotton (Joan Osborne) and Yoed Nir (Rufus Wainwright, Regina Spektor) as well as the back-up vocals of Misty Boyce and Annekei. Baum began his music career as a member of the band, 'Outland', awarded 'Best European Breakthrough Artist' by London Music Week, and released three albums before he began his solo career. Baum has opened for Van Morrison, The John Butler Trio, and Gavin DeGraw performing in the larger venues of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He has headlined at various venues in Europe, performed at the legendary Openair St. Gallen Festival and Lucerne's Blue Balls Festival. His on-stage presence and energetic acoustic performances often result in repeat invitations as indicated by his third return to Ireland in February to launch his 2011 tour. Baum's talent has been recognized by other renowned artists such as Neil Young who selected his song 'One Day You Will Return' for his 'Living With War Today' awareness campaign.
