Bio:: i am a singer songwriter with a soulful heart… pouring my words over an infinite amount of stars against the black sky, soapboxes, butterflies and pockets full of sand… i was born in florida, raised in texas. but i’m a beach girl through and through. the sound of waves crashing and my feet playing in sand… i love words and poetry. i love music and rhythm... and i love to sing from the depth of me… it’s my heart on the outside. i love driving small back windy country roads I have never seen. the views inspire me.  on a recent trip, i found the perfect road laden with fallen down houses and barns, roads covered in trees with sweet little creeks nestled in between. i love nature, the beauty, the breeze on my face, music on and my thoughts drifting through the notes… i love driving these little unknown roads where you never know what is just beyond that hill or around that bend…   it. could. be. magical…   you just don’t know… until you are there…   it’s days and things like this that inspire me. my life and places i have been both physically and emotionally and spiritually make up the pieces of who i am the songs that i write and sing… it’s all a part of me… ~ j
