Bio:: NJ Lewrel (Nehemiah) is an American Singer/Songwriter who has been co-writing with Multi-platinum Record Producer and Songwriter Michael Jay (Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue, and Eminem) and Multi-platinum Producer Johnny Pedersen (Jason Derulo, Aqua -Barbie Girl). In collaboration with them, Nehemiah co-wrote "Win It With You" a summer groove reminiscent of- Bruno Mars or Jason Mraz - and “Blind To The Fall" a dance pop R&B sensation likened to David Guetta & Usher, as well as "Bob it like Marley" a blend of Maroon 5 and Bruno Mars with an Island/Reggae vibe.

Nehemiah gets his inspiration and styling from the masters of the craft, both new and old. Also having over 250 live musical performances, including some musical theatre, under his Black Belt (Nehemiah is also an 8th Degree Black belt); Nehemiah knows how to move an audience. He seeks to incorporate the old school music stylings of the greats, with a new age twist by blending together catchy beats that make you move, with feel good lyrics that fit the groove. His songs mix the future contemporary with an old school poetic vibe that is all his own.

When it comes to his music it doesn’t matter if he’s laying tracks down in the studio with Grammy Award winning and/or Platinum Producers, on stage crooning out a silky R&B ballad, or vocally grooving to the steady beats of a dance hit, he has a passion for the sound, and he wants people to feel it.
