PREMONITION IS TIM HUSKINSON AND ANIMUS PRIME. PREMONITION defines hard work, dedication and independence, while spreading their new-themed music worldwide. Tim and Animus Prime (Orounaghan 'Omar' John-Lee Powell) met in September 2010 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and right away they began putting in work for collaboration. In February 2011, both were finally able to fully focus on music, with means to produce it, thus PREMONITION was created. The band’s first LP “New League” was recorded by March. Tim has been surrounded by music since the age of 12, when he started playing guitar and writing songs. Within three years he was already proficient in basic audio production. At the age of 17, Tim was a member of band Framing Hanley (sold over 125,000 records - gold), composing songs and playing guitar (until 2008). Tim then started a band, Parabelle, with singer Kevin Matysin. Tim later quit due to disagreements. In 2010, Tim continued to produce music and write songs, while starting his own record label, New Alchemy Records. Animus Prime has always been fond of writing, but 2008 Animus merged from poetry to writing rap. At this time he lived in Las Vegas, Nevada and was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. A friend got Animus Prime behind a microphone for the first time, and after that experience music ruled his life. He joined B.U.M.P., (Black United Minds with a Purpose- Black, as in the term ‘Black sheep’) and began to take music seriously. In March 2010, Animus Prime’s life changed - he was dealing with multiple issues and fell into depression. Because of his self-medicating, he was released from the military. After incarceration, Animus Prime wanted a fresh start. He had old friends from the U.K. living in Colorado Springs and decided to move there to start over, clear his head, and write a solo album in the process. PREMONITION aims to bring life experience, feeling, full artistic control, and clever lyrics to their ideal audience… THE WORLD!
