Bio:: Umbra Summi Nobis is an Alternative Metal band, founded in 2008 in Caracas. There is a gathering of two contrasting female voices: a Heavy Metal voice and a Lyrical one. Their compositions are centred on universal legends, experiences and ecological concerns. They feed on various genres of music: symphonic metal, gothic, classical, new age, classic rock and touches of Latin American folklore. Their first EP «Las primeras leyendas» (2010) was produced independently, consists of 4 original tracks and 1 intro and can be downloaded for free from their social networks. Nowadays they are preparing a video clip and working in their first studio album. They participated in the "Free! Music! Contest! 2010" organized by Musikpirat (Germany), resulting winners. The song "Nebulosa" was included in the cd compilation "Sampler 2010", featuring 30 artists from around the world. In addition Musikpirat selected them as The "Band of the Month" (January 2011). They also have participated in "The Battle of The Bands 2010" organized by the German Magazine Sonic Seducer, after being chosen the song "The Enchanted" among the top 30 issues aplying. This song was also included on the CD inserts at the magazine in its issue of November 2010. They repeated as The Band of the Month on february 2011 in venezuelan Top Metal Web "Venezuela Metal".
