Pianist Julie Dees began studing piano at age 8, having a deep love and interest in music from a young age. This passion grew under the direction of Lenora Ford Neal Brown, a Steinway Artist, international performer, and academic of music, who taught Julie for a number of years. At age 17, Julie also studied with a professiona entertainer who instructed her in the art of improvisation. he was impressed with her natual ability and emotional interpretation of the music, adding strength to these with his deep knowledge of musical improvisation. In addion to piano, during her studies of music, Julie studied violin and guitar for six year. Both of hese skilss have significantly added to the depth of her music expression. Julie's professional background includes over 30 years of usical contributions for religious organization, through planning, organization and performances. Over the years she has delighted audiences while performing at weddings, anniversaries, and holiday parties. Since 2006, Julie has regularly performed at the Homestead, a five-Star Resort. Julie has performed at the famous Cowboy Poetry for the sunday Brunch in Heber City, in 2007 & 2008. Amoung here numerous other performances, Julie has also shared the stage with other artist such as Debbie Gibson , Collin Ray, Pianist Paul Cardall at Senator Orrin Hatch's Annual Women's and Seniors Conferences
