Biography
Chad Carrier is a supremely talented singer and songwriter who spent much of the pandemic writing and recording. His discography reflects a career in music that has spanned numerous decades – from his first album titled ‘Easter’ in 1986 to ‘Lovedog’ in 1991, to his latest album in 2024, Chad Carrier has built a career in music on the foundations of diverse music and rhythmic lyricism. Vinyl Shake was the first band he started after he started writing original songs. He later went on to join the Hollywood favorite bands Easter and Lovedog. Easter with an album on radio and videos on MTV and Lovedog with an album and videos on MTV concluded, Chad was ready to start something fresh – he formed Big Mess, a band which has since then gone on to record 7 albums, with an 8th to be released this summer with guest vocalist Jack Grisham being featured in two songs. Having performed in over 1000 shows, including Mesa Music Festival, Idlewild Strong, Double Down Saloon, and Palomino, Chad has garnered experience throughout his career, and as a result even earned an Academy Award nomination for ‘Shillaly Brothers’ for the best song in the soundtrack of ‘White Irish Drinkers’.
‘Not Alone’ is the 2022 instalment by Chad Carrier, and it is a song about mental health and the loneliness it can make people feel. Aspiring to demolish the stigma associated with mental health issues, Chad Carrier stuns audiences with his poignant lyricism and mature themes. Hoping to keep the conversation going about difficult topics via his music, Chad Carrier is determined and excited to make a return to live shows and performances.
