When a individual grows up around such artists as Boys2men, Blackstreet, 112, Usher, Genuine, Neyo, and the one & only Michael Jackson, one can only wonder what music would such a artist compose. As a Singer/songwriter C.Barbosa is a revolution in R&B. This is just one of the many qualified words that comes to mind when you think of Chris Barbosa. Born in Boston Massachusetts on August 26th Cbarbosa is the youngest out of 4 siblings. Growing up 15 miles South of them city lights in the ruff city of Brockton, Massachussets (home of rocky marciano) C.Barbosa quickly but surely found a deep passion for music. Shortly after high school C.Barbosa along with 3 other members formed one of brockton/bostons hottest R&B groups Image. Opening up for such artists as Cassidy, Rupee, jagged edge etc. Image was the buzz of new england. After a 4 year run Image disbanded and thus brought out C.barbosa’s drive for nothing short then amazing. Forming one of New Englands hottest writing group (FinePrint Music) along side old group members Mykel & Rj, C.barbosa has written over 50 songs & counting. With such hits as “So fine”, ” Hear That Sound”, “Dance with you” this Cape Verdian native is determined to put out hot music! C.Barbosa have also opened up for Akon in the cape verde islands(West Coast of Africa) and also opended up for such artist as Kim Davis and many more. Chris Barbosa is determined to be a new breed in the R&B/HipHop/Pop industry.
