Bio:: Their sound is heavy,textured,and vigorous. It's as if Rob Zombie and Tool formed some supergroup in the blue-collar depths of Vancouver, WA. This is truly motivating rock. More importantly, it makes you feel more badass than you really are. It makes you want to smoke more, drink more, and drive really fast. I know you like it already.Blown is a five piece rock band based out of Vancouver Washington. Recently featured on Oregon's largest rock station, KUFO. The new cd "Slow Burn" is getting great reviews. Justin Dipietra is in charge of leading the vocals. His influences of The Black Crowes, and Mad Season has bled into the melodies of Blown. Don Lindner(Swamp Surfer,Snowday Trip,Shine) and Rich Cornelison(Lid) on guitars, create a thick sonic sound. Influences of Killing Joke, Tool, and over fifteen years in the music scene, the guitar sound has taken a whole new level. Nothing like the over processed sound of today, just the raw power of high end amplification. Ric Brown(Lid) is laying down a solid bass groove, sustaining a deep, crisp tone that makes the music roll smoothly. Nick Bjonskaas is rounding out the drumming position. Creating beats that enhance the music, bringing the Blown experience to a knuckle shattering frenzy. Overall, this band is good, nothing like anything that is out right now.
