Minister Melissa Hayward was a longtime drug and alcohol abuser in the late 80’s well into the early 90’s. She began drinking as a young girl and later at the age of fourteen began using crack cocaine. She heard the voice of God on January 29, 2001 calling her to begin her journey of recovery. Since surrendering, she has dedicated her life in helping others to live a clean and sober life.

In 2006 God spoke to Hayward’s heart and challenged her to birth, the Ministry “God’s Vessel Ministries”. God’s Vessels objective is to share the unconditional love to every vessel that God sends, to bring hope of a transformed life. Hayward is continuing the vision by reaching out to the youth by creating a curriculum called “Building LEADER’S For A Better Tomorrow” (ministry site: www.godsvessel.com.)

Melissa Hayward is an accomplished stage actor. Her credits include: co-starring with JAMES DeBARGE and HOWARD HEWITT in WHEN A MAN FINDS A WIFE HE FINDS A GOOD THING, which enjoyed successful runs at the Wiltern Theatre, the Wilshire Ebell Theatre (Los Angeles), Spreckles Theater (San Diego), The El Rey Theatre (Los Angeles) and The Orpheum Theatre.
